Design Leadership
I have communicated design leadership at the highest level, presenting to executives from Amazon, AWS, and Microsoft. At AWS, I led the "Customer Experience Bar Raisers" group, providing external insights for innovation.
During executive coaching sessions for the "working backwards" Amazon process, I assisted global brands in innovating with AWS services. I have also initiated and led sprints and jams to unify multiple organizations toward a common goal.
I have grown diverse global teams from 3 to 25 designers over the last 10 years. I am a passionate mentor and relish growing talent.
Data Visualization
Data visualization and storytelling are my passions, and I have had the privilege of working on significant products in this domain, including Microsoft Excel and PowerView Integration, Microsoft Power Map, the Microsoft OneViz Initiative, Amazon QuickSight Dashboarding and Insight experiences, Tangram (future office experience for Microsoft), and my PhD research on using two hands in VR.
These experiences are highly relevant today as AI and ML continue to enhance the value derived from previously overlooked data. I have successfully delivered solutions across mobile, web, and voice platforms.
Quality and Simplicity
As Principal Designer and Senior Manager, I create engaging environments for team collaboration to enhance customer experiences. Notable projects include the 2022 Prime Video redesign and Amazon's Global Intranet and HR systems.
